Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a whole new App BHIM, based on UPI digital Payment. The app was launched in DigiDhan Mela in New Delhi

Using this app user can send and receive money instantly, all the payments are done through secured UPI (Unified Payment Interface), There is a Rs. 10,000 per transaction limit, and Rs. 20,000 per day for BHIM.

The Aim of launching this app is to encourage and increase the digital transaction in India

And the best part  Internet connectivity is not required to make transactions, the interface can be accessed by justing dialing *99# from the registered mobile number

Here’s the Detailed Process how to Download and Setup the App

  1. Go to Google Play Store and Search BHIM or Click here
  2. Click Install
  3. Open the BHIM App
  4. Select Language (Currently Available in 2 Language – Hindi and English) and Click Next
  5. Again Click Next (If it asks for Permission tap on Allow)
  6. Tap on Let’s get Started (If Dual Sim, select the Mobile number which is linked to the Bank)
  7. Your Mobile number will be automatically verified
  8. Enter a 4 Digit Passcode, so wherever you start it will ask for that Passcode
  9. Now select you Bank
  10. You will get the lists of Bank linked to your Mobile number
  11. Select and Start using
  12. That’s it

Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Catholic Syrian Bank, Central Bank of India, DCB Bank, Dena Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, IDFC Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, IndusInd Bank, Karnataka Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, RBL Bank, South Indian Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, State Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, Vijaya Bank.
